A Little Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Queens, NY into a Muslim family and have been blessed to learn how to recite Quran at a young age, but have only been a sincerely practicing Muslim with firm conviction since the Fall of my junior year (~Aug 2018). This is when I read an English translation of the Quran for the first time, and have started listening to/watching lectures and debates by Hamza Tzortzis, Mohammed Hijab, speaker's corner videos, etc.
At this point, around 3 years into my transformation, Alhamdulilah, I'm proud to say that I'm firmly entrenched in Islam and it is my identity first and foremost. I love reciting, memorizing, revising, and listening to the Quran. I love listening to lectures that increase me in imaan. I love reading books that increase me in beneficial knowledge. I love performing acts that bring me closer to Allah and try to stay away from what displeases Him (this includes Bid'ah, etc.). I love emulating Rasoolullah صل الله عليه وسلم and try to implement the Sunnahs that I can. I'm learning Arabic (FuSha), but it's very weak, so I haven't listed it as a language in my bio. Ideally, I'd want my wife to understand it or learn it with me and it'd be something we'd pass on to our children, in sha Allah, along with whatever languages their grandparents speak.
I've graduated from Binghamton University in May 2020 with majors in Accounting and Quantitative Finance.
I've completed all 4 CPA (Certified Public Accounting) exams and will be a CPA in December 2021 in sha Allah (need to fulfill the 1 year experience clause).
I've accepted an offer in my junior year (~August 2019) to work as a consultant in the realm of Mergers and Acquisitions for a "Big 4" accounting firm in Midtown Manhattan. I started in January 2021 and have been working for ~7 months now Alhamdulilah.
I enjoy working out/exercising/playing sports. I lift weights every morning before work and run a few times a week for cardio. I'm 5'7", 145 pounds. I thoroughly enjoy hiking, tennis, and swimming. I enjoy venturing out on weekends to beaches, parks, and any other sort of nature. I'm constantly in awe of Allah's creation.
Right now, I'm saving my PTO to spend with someone special, but I'm very much looking forward to road trips and vacations in sha Allah :D. Also, I've put "won't move abroad" in the bio, but I'd consider making Hijrah down the line in sha Allah.
I'm also into colognes and nice smelling fragrances. From Neroli to leather and oud, I just love everything. I have different scents for every season.

What I Am Looking For
The most important things I'm looking for in a wife are:
- Righteousness and Taqwa (I don't want you to do good and refrain from evil for me, but for Allah)
- A shared foundation of Quran and Sunnah: any disagreements we have can be resolved with this ultimate shared foundation
- Modesty and Haya
- Beauty: There's a lot of fitnah in this day and age, and my wife and I will be shields for eachother from it. It's critical that we're mutually attracted to eachother, but I understand that a Muslima can't adorn herself for strangers so I'll certainly account for that. You should account for the fact that I don't have many photos of myself, so I couldn't be picky with my selection haha.
- Softness/compassion
- Love for children and the desire to be a good mother in sha Allah (should Allah choose to bless us with children)
We're all trying to display ourselves in the best light, but of course, we all have our flaws. I'm not perfect and I don't expect my wife to be either, but I do want us to be the best we can be and to strive towards Ihsan and in sha Allah, through the mercy of Allah, Jannatul Firdaus. I want a wife who will accompany me on this journey, and to support and be supported by me in the Dunya and the Akhirah, in sha Allah.
