A Little Bit About Me
Long story short - I like to learn. I'm always reading random articles about Japanese indigo dye and sounds in outer space. I also really love the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the processes that go into movie production (read a book about the making of Lord of the Rings in middle school and it changed the way I watch movies). I think Treasure Planet is an underrated Disney movie, FMA:B ruined my standards for anime, and I've been playing Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow in whatever minimal free time I have.

I'm looking for someone who's similarly interested in random stuff and passionate about both sharing their interests and learning more about others' interests. I myself am very liberal - I do the whole pray, fast, hijab, etc thing but if you don't that's totally cool, just be open-minded and ready to explore!

I get a lot of satisfaction out of making people happy. My brother and I like to joke that I'm kind of like a therapy dog - I hear a faint sigh of despair and just nyoom on over.

Other stuff - I have a M.Ed. in a discipline similar to educational neuropsychology but I work in *fanfare* IT. My dad is a retired USAF colonel with a background in engineering, my mom was a teacher, and my brother is a doctor. I was born and raised in the US.

What I Am Looking For
I'm mostly just looking for a "partner." It's hard to explain. Ultimately, we should be friends - like, uh...a bromance? I want someone to feel completely and utterly at ease with me and I'd also like to feel the same with them. It's really just a matter of acceptance, mutual respect, being genuinely curious about each other's interests, and wanting to help each other grow as people.
