A Little Bit About Me
I care about others and have a vision to serve.

I love the outdoors and regularly take brisk walks while listening to audiobooks. Hiking or ‘forest bathing’ is therapeutic for me and using my senses to be mindful in nature creates a sense of peace and wellness. I am open to new adventures, such as hand gliding and white water rafting, but not extreme sports.

I see life as a journey balancing striving for improvement and excellence, while also being content and simply being. I enjoy simple things like my Mediterranean/desi omelette for breakfast and swinging in the park.

Being a first born, I am responsible, conscientious and a planner. I believe that even though we are products of our upbringing, we are dynamic beings that can grow in any areas we choose. I have studied emotional intelligence formally. This summer, I read the books Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, as well as the Mindful Self-Compassion workbook.

I have also transformed my lifestyle into daily exercise, eating healthy meals, and am currently studying Lifestyle Medicine.

My goals for social impact started with being a physician and advocating against injustice, and are now expanding to include writing and life coaching.
