A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu alaikoum!
I am a 29 year-old PhD student in Microbiology and Immunology (currently writing my thesis and will be defending by the end of the summer inshaAllah) at the University of Ottawa. After graduation, I would like to find a job in Ottawa (I grew up in Ottawa and would like to stay close to my immediate family); ideally, I would love to teach biomedical science courses at a higher-level institution such as uOttawa, Carleton University, or Algonquin College, but I am very flexible and am also considering postdoctoral research positions and government jobs at the moment.
I am simulated by creativity, theoretical and abstract ideas and possibilities, and making an impact in the world in a meaningful and positive way. In a nutshell, I would describe my personality as bubbly (but somewhat shy), happy-go-lucky, caring and playful person. If Allah swt blesses me with a husband, I am looking forward to brightening his days :)

What I Am Looking For
I’m looking for a man who continuously strives to be the best Muslim he can be, in all aspects of his life. This includes fulfilling primary obligations (prays, fasts, gives charity), following hadith and Sunnah of prophet pbuh, actively learning more about the religion (e.g, read and seek to understand Quran, self-study, attend courses or halaqas, watching educational videos, asking scholars when in doubt, etc.). When married, I would share this journey with my husband and insha Allah we can help each other attain Jannah together.
I'm looking for someone who is open to relocating/living in Ottawa, Canada (or nearby, such as Montreal, Kingston, etc.) so that I can stay close/check up on my parents regularly - I would be eternally grateful, and it would be the only thing I truly request of my husband.
I am looking for kindness, gentleness, warmth, love, companionship - someone I can laugh with, play with, and be intimate with, someone who would care for me and demonstrate it daily through both actions and words. Likewise, I would be so excited and happy to provide the same for my spouse. This world is filled with hardships, so I am looking for someone who can be by my side in this life and insha Allah in the next.
P.S. If you know how to win those stuffed animals from those impossible crane/claw vending machines, that’s also a big plus :P
