A Little Bit About Me

My moto in life is truly "Live,Love and Laugh". I have an amazing support system which consist of my family and friends. I have a great job in the Public Health field, which I enjoy. Alhumdulillah, I have been blessed with an amazing life...other than finding my lifelong companion in this life:-). I love to travel and learn about new cultures. I also try my best to give back to the community with service and am active in my local mosque. My aim is always to become a better practicing Muslim iA.

A little bit of background: I was born in Bangladesh and moved to the U.S. when I was 5. I have my Master of Public Health. My father has a Doctorate in Education. My mom is a wonderful head of our home and I have two younger sisters, one of which are married and a handsome nephew mA...who has all of our hearts!

The most important thing in a relationship is respect and honesty. It's important to find the right person to go on the journey with. I am divorced and had a previous short marriage that ended 4 years ago. I have had a long hard journey to get to this point again, but I believe that Allah does not test someone more than they can take. Islam does not define me by the fact that I am divorced and so I hope that others won't either.
