A Little Bit About Me
Hi there,

Thank you for visiting my profile :)

I was born in the Middle East, but raised in Canada. I recently obtained a PhD in IO Psychology, and I am currently working as an assistant professor in a renowned university in Canada.

I come from a small but close knit family. My family consists of my parents and younger brother, who recently got married. All members of my immediate family are successfully working in their respective fields. We are moderately religious. Both my brother and I have stayed within the confines of our religion - my parents are often complimented for the religious and cultural values they have instilled in us :)

My family and friends would describe me as an amazing person. Whose wouldn't, right? Given this background, I would like to tell you what I strive to be - a good human being, a good daughter, a good sister, a good friend, a good scholar, and above all, a good Muslim. I try to be as warm, caring, and friendly as possible.

I like to do a number of things: traveling, reading novels, watching movies/musicals/sport events/TV shows, swimming, and playing board games.

I currently have fitness goals that I am working towards - I have a few extra pounds that I would like to lose by the end of this year. Hence, one of my current obsessions is eating healthy and exercising :) I want to make this a lifestyle habit of mine.
