A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualaikum! I have succumbed to my family and decided to make an account.

I would say I'm quite a simple person. I love cats but animals in general take up a large space in my heart. I love reading, both fiction and non fiction. I have had an interest in East Asian culture and countries since I was young and that has never left me. One day I'd love to visit. Japan, South Korea, Malaysia etc. I would consider myself to be a bit of a hopeless romantic (books and dramas have raised the standard).

In my spare time I love to clean (i promise this is a good thing). I wouldn't classify myself as a clean freak but I don't like mess and it's the perfect activity for someone restless! I like to try new recipes and cuisines. I would love to travel to new places. I have only had the pleasure of visiting a few places in my life alhamdulillah.

I listen to music.

Although I'm a qualified teacher I am currently on the course to become an author. It has been a dream of mine FOREVER and during lockdown I've realised the shortness of life and how it would be a waste to not pursue things for myself.

I am a practicing Muslim who wears the hijab, pray my 5 daily prayers and fasts alhamdulillah. No milads and khatams.
