A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu alaykum, I am a graduate student working on my PhD in chemistry. My parents are of Palestinian origin, but I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. I moved with my family to the US in 2001. I have three younger sisters and one brother who live two hours and a half (driving) from where I live.
I enjoy reading. I also recently started getting interested in sports like running and biking. I have tried kayaking once and I participated in one 10-k race and another 5-k race, but I didn't win first place :-)
I am a quiet person in general, but I like being active and keeping myself busy.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a person who fears Allah in everything he does and the way he treats people. I am also looking for an ambitious active person. There also needs to be some attraction between me and that person.

There are a couple of things I'd like to emphasize:
1- I cannot move anywhere before I am done with school one year from now inshaAllah. If I meet the right person who has serious intentions, then I wouldn't mind getting married before graduating if that person is willing to wait for me until I graduate to move.

2- I am not interested in exchanging emails or talking for months before meeting face to face. I think it's important to take that step early on if the two people agree on the basics.
