A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh
I pray you are well and in the best of health.
At the onset I would like to inform you that I adore truth & honesty in all aspects of my life and dislike people who are liars. Therefore, if you decide to message then I would vehemently urge you to be truthful in what you say to me.
I will now share my thoughts and experiences under the following headings which I trust should provide you with a brief insight into me, my life and my future aspirations.
Personality: I am a pious 32 year old bachelorette who enjoys the little things in life which make happiness. I am an outgoing individual who enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. I keep active and enjoy going for walks in the countryside. I love food, fashion, travel and posses a keen interest in cars. I like trying out new restaurants and different cuisines but can equally engage my culinary skills to experiment with new dishes at home (of late, my taste buds are somewhat partial to infused dishes from Asia Minor riparian states). Friends describe me as a loyal, funny, hardworking, honest and down to earth person. Family is equally important to me and I have learnt that time spent with both of these groups is preciously rewarding. Just like every other young Lady, when it comes to shopping, I simply adore the whole experience and can shop until I drop! In terms of travel, I have visited Europe and the Middle East and would revel in exploring new locations abroad in the not too distant future.
Family: My parents were born in Pakistan, whereas I was born and reside at my parental home in South East England- one of the Shire’s. As my family originates from Punjab, we mainly speak English and Punjabi at home, with Urdu being our third language. We are a conservative family and hold traditional views on family life. My father is retired and my mother is a home maker. Being the middle child I have two male siblings (one elder and one younger) who are also holders of postgraduate qualifications. Eldest works for a financial institution and the youngest is a civil servant.
Education and Work: I earnestly believe education is a must for all people, without which one lacks the basic skills to enjoy the beautiful life that Allah has bestowed upon each and every one of us. I read Law at University and presently work in financial services in the private sector. My job is unique and I enjoy my work which I am passionate about it. I work as a Compliance officer and have been performing differing Compliance roles within the past few years. I am ambitious in terms of my career, however the next step in my life is to complete half my deen and become a wife and In Sha Allah, a mother.
Religion and Heritage: I totally adore my faith and roots. I believe it makes us who we are today and without which we will be lost. Both of these provide us with the guidance and fortitude to weather the many challenges life presents. I believe that religion is a personal journey for every individual. I come from a practicing family, for example, my father attends the local mosque daily. I consider myself to be moderately practicing, where I pray as often as I can but do ensure that Jummah prayers are always performed. In Sha Allah, in the not to distant future, I very much look forward to performing pilgrimage to Makkah and Madinah. I just know it will be so peaceful and tranquil being there. I expect my future husband to be an adherent to our beloved Islam and am open to meeting someone who is at a different stage in terms of how practicing they are. I believe as a couple, it is right to encourage each other in the right path. Alongside this, I would like to visit the birthplace of my parents and explore the vast beautiful landscape of Pakistan. Moreover, I imagine being overwhelmed within Lahore’s huge emporium of the latest Asian attire for a young Lady like myself.

What I Am Looking For
I seek a pious bachelor, for the sole purpose of marriage, who is honest, humble, loyal, caring, cultured, confident, out going, degree educated and shares a similar mindset with respect to our beloved faith, especially someone who understands the great importance of marriage in Islam.
He needs to be a good listener and communicator and someone who can be my best friend for life. I am a Sunni Muslim and seek a suitor from the same background who resides either in the UK, or abroad, and moreover I am amenable to living in an extended family where adherence to appropriate boundaries are respected and maintained for a cohesive environment. I seek that special life partner who understands me and wants to be involved with the things I enjoy in life, as likewise I will willingly perform the same in his life. He should be a sincere, loving person who knows how to respect and care for others, especially those less fortunate than himself. Allah has placed many tests upon us all and we must endeavour to be humble and show humility at all times.
My ideal partner would be someone who is family orientated and understands their part in looking after parents and family members. Attraction in any relationship is important. I do believe that personality does triumph appearance but at the same time some level of mutual attraction needs to be there. So, looks-wise, he must be appealing to my eyes, as I must be to his eyes!
