A Little Bit About Me
I was born and raised in the United States. I like to live life holistically and improve every aspect of it. I like to take care of myself mentally as well as physically. I pray and read Qur'an regularly, I work out, read, sketch, cook different cuisines, try new restaurants, travel, watch TV/movies (l can't miss previews in the theater). I love sports and cars, I love to have conversations that have growth in them regarding politics, religion, social dilemmas, etc. I love humor and wit, it balances the labyrinth of craziness in life.
I am an avid reader. I read books involving both fiction and non-fiction because fantasy needs to be balanced by reality. I read the newspaper and magazines such as Foreign Policy, The Economist, Time, People, and In Style Magazine. In a ten minute conversation, I can cover the analysis of Surah Yusuf, how meteors work, why both George Bushes are ugghhh (yes, it's a word !), what needs to be done to seriously re-build the Cubs and Bulls, and why orange can be worn on olive skin tones.

What I Am Looking For
I view marriage as something that lasts for a lifetime (InshAllah). I don't think it is possible to pinpoint exactly what kind of person I am looking for because it all depends on the person, the personality, compatibility, and personal/professional goals. Generally speaking though, I would be inclined towards someone who values Islam, respects family, is ambitious towards succeeding in his personal and professional life, politically and socially aware, has the ability to understand various viewpoints and have an opinion based on facts and moral integrity. If all this comes with a charming and witty personality, then that would be awesome.
