I am more than a few pounds heavy and have looks that do not warrant a second glance. So if you are looking for a drop-dead gorgeous partner, then you're not looking for me. I love travelling, especially the kind of trips where I can learn more about the local culture of the place I am visiting. I consider myself well-travelled, but as small as the planet is, there is still more that I have not yet seen. Family is important to me. I spent a lot of time with my nephews until I moved to Canada. After that I still spend time with them, only it is through Skype.
I like to talk but am also a good listener. I am independent (as any single woman my age has to be) but am willing to share my responsibilities and decision-making with someone who wants to be a part of my life. I know what I want but am willing to listen to opinion. As much as I have been used to making decisions and have nothing against feminism, I do enjoy letting the guy do little things like holding the door open for me.
