A Little Bit About Me
Hmm, so where to start....well Im a 32 year old, intelligent, professional but fun loving young woman, on this site looking for Mr Right. The Aunty Gee's haven't come up with the goods, so Mum has persuaded me to give this a go. ;)
Im committed to my career, and am at the final stages of completing my ACCA - chartered accountancy qualification. (I finally decided on a career in accountancy after working for a charity for a number of years following graduation and then realizing I needed a profession) Whilst I do enjoy working and am career minded I am fully prepared to put it on the back burner when im ready to start a family of my own. After all having you own family is a massive adventure, and a course for spiritual fulfillment.
So when I'm not working or studying I love reading, eating out with friends, shopping, tv, cinema, keeping fit and most of all laughing!
My real passion is traveling and seeing the world. Id never get my parents consent to disapper for 6 months, lol, so I have made do with going on holiday as often as possible, Iv been to Dubai, Tunisia, Spain, Austria and Italy to name a few and would love to travel more with my husband, Insha Allah! I find visiting new places, seeing new and old sights and experiencing new cultures fascinating and enriching.
In terms of my dedication to faith, my faith in Allah is deep, as a student I was an active member of the ISOC. I am not as active in practicing my faith now, however I am committed to it! And really want to grow in faith. Im not into overly liberal or overly harsh interpretations of Islam. The Prophet PBUH always spoke of the middle way and that is where I would like to be. I would like to meet someone at a similar level, who wants to grow in the deen, in a mutually supportive (not nagging) environment.
