A Little Bit About Me
Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahe wa barakatuhu.

I am registering here to find myself a partner from a syed family background.

I am from a traditional religious syed family where we usually marry into our own relatives.
As I am one of the eldest children in the family with all male cousins being younger, it has been a mission looking elsewhere.

As a Muslim I am aware I don’t have to marry another syed but it is a requirement of my family to do so and I respect their wish.

More about me... I am a very gentle caring person. People see me as an introvert, little do they know that I am very selective in who I choose to communicate and socialise with!! When I am comfortable with like minded people, I am very open, cheerful and express the real person I am.

I am very family oriented and love spending time with family, especially my gorgeous nieces and nephews. We love going on long walks and baking together. Best thing about them is I can return them once I’ve had enough!!

I have worked in the education sector mostly but gave up teaching as it was taking over my life. It was a difficult decision but the right one. As it’s given me time for myself, my family and my deen. Work is important but family and health come first.

I don’t use social media!! I don’t go out unnecessarily. I don’t go to the cinema!! I don’t like eating out!!
Apart from teaching and cooking, my passion is to travel!! Hopefully with the right companion.


I’m a kind of ‘by the book’ type of person by which I mean I take my deen seriously and knowing I’m accountable for everything I do and say, I’d rather be in the ‘good book’ and therefore strive to fulfil my obligations where possible, be that at home, work or elsewhere. Some may call it people pleasing but I call it ‘Allah pleasing’. I love studying my deen and trying to be a better Muslim.
