A Little Bit About Me
Assalaamu Alaikum,

I am described by friends and family as warm, cheerful and compassionate. I really appreciate good (and bad) humour so this is an important quality I am looking for. I am currently working in the public sector in Computing, and spend most of my spare time studying (Islamic studies), eating, baking and hanging out with my family and friends.

I am polite in nature and friendly – I tend to get along with everyone (a bit outrageously cheeky). I come from a large household, and have a million cousins and alhamdulillah we are all close and keep in touch.

Although I had a cultural upbringing (I cook, clean, sew and speak my own language). My parents have become much more practising alhamdulillah, and have abandoned anything which contradicts Islam. As a result, we’re not what would be described as a traditional Pakistani family. I hope inshallah we have established a happy medium whereby we have taken on the best of our culture without compromising our Islam.

My expectations of a spouse would be that he accepts my family as his, just as I would love for his to family to accept me as one of them.
