A Little Bit About Me

Inshallah your family and you are well.
So, after using the ‘Aunty Jee’ network, I have decided to take the next step to try and find my husband. Whilst searching, I feel I have learnt a few new things about myself and have found the world to be an interesting place.
I believe that this profile captures me well however, as they say you do not fully know a person until you have travelled, lived with or done business with them. So, I asked my friends and colleagues to describe me in one line and these are some of their responses:

Whilst growing up, I have been blessed with a wonderful, supportive family who have reminded me to stay within Islam (i.e. no smoking, drinking or boyfriends) and to try new things (e.g. abseiling and a tandem sky dive jump for charity – not sure I’ll do that again though!).
Islam is the logical way of life and Allah has not made it hard for us to follow Islam - we have. I believe we should aim to be the best person we can be, as sometimes you may be the only Islam someone encounters. So you have to give the best impression of our faith and culture. With this in mind, I am involved with my local community - just doing my little bit to help out!
I would describe myself as a person with my Deen as my core, with a twist of Pakistani and Western culture. I wear the Hijab, which includes dressing modestly and no makeup (as I feel natural beauty is from within). In my spare time, I try to keep myself occupied including: reading, playing basketball, riding my bike and DIY.
I understand that any relationship in one’s life means compromise and being adaptable, especially in relationships close to you. I am an adaptable person but if you are looking for a typical trophy wife, I am not it. I don’t know anything about fashion, I’m not a model, and I am not a girly girl. However, I am a strong, woman whose personality is my selling feature and I am ready to find the right man to share this life and the hereafter with together. What I Am Looking For
I guess from reading the above you will gauge my personality. I would like someone who is driven to move themselves forward and be the best role model.
I would like someone who looks forward to continuing to learn the Deen and other elements of life together as a family. Someone who is like-minded and preferable a Graduate who is British or with a cool accent.
