A Little Bit About Me
Salaam all, InshAllah when you read this you and your family are well.
Where to start? This is the first time I have taken the adventurous step to come online and try to describe myself (which is harder than I originally thought as you cannot always capture someone in a few words).

Firstly I feel it is important that people understand the reason for marriage, so what do I feel you ask? I feel marriage is about two people coming together as friends helping each other to grow, strengthen each other and joining two families.

Not into fashion. However I am aware one should be a presentable person. I would like to explore the nature and cultures around the world through travel, however don't seem to have found the time yet. I like to cycle and enjoy our surroundings and occasionally play some sports.

I have recently started to take my deen seriously and am learning all the time. I am aware that Islam is a part of our life and our actions should reflect that. With all aspects of my life I feel I still have a lot to learn.

My job involves working with people to help strengthen their communities, which I enjoy very much. My motto is ?Don?t spend too much time at work and not enjoy it? and of course we are accountable for how we earn our money. There is more to life than just work which is one of the reasons I like to involve myself in activities taking place in the community (well I try to be as helpful as possible). As individuals I feel we have so much to offer, helping our local community and being a good role model is important as children (are they just not the sweetest things) will follow the actions of people around them and they are the next generation of Muslims. I understand it can be hard to balance work and home life. However it is important to use our strengths and passion to do good within our local community.

My family is an important part of my life. They are the ones who have got me to where I am today. No doubt they have an influence as to how we act. They will play a role in our life now and in the future (don?t worry I have a brain of my own).

What I Am Looking For
From the above you will hopefully have gauged some of the values I am looking for in a life partner. I would like someone to support me and my passions and I would do the same for him. On top of this I would like someone who is:
- Energetic
- Driven and has a motivated attitude to life
- Sense of humour
- Similar interests to me
- A brain (most people have one of those!)
(Not asking for that much then!). I feel everyone has the right to aim high. Don?t worry, I understand marriage is not a one way street and we all have to go through a stage of discovery when going into this part of our lives.

Just to make you aware I take things through families. As explained above marriage is about joining two families not just two individuals.

I would like to close with a dua that InshAllah you (and me) will find the person we are to be with. Just remember to make dua for everyone in this world to help them through their own personal tests. When it is written for things to happen they will happen.
