A Little Bit About Me

I am a very calm, compassionate, kind and gentle person, and I enjoy the beauty in simplicity and possess a good sense of humour.
I feel I am cultured without being cultural. (Don't worry if you don't understand, I am sure one day I will write a book on this subject)
I am a generally a quite person and can be very talkative when the right button is pressed and with people I am comfortable with. Being a passionate reader, makes me a deep thinker as well. I like to look at things from many angles. With the right person I can be very bubbly.
I am 6ft 2 tall and have a beard. Most people can never get close to my true age. So Alhamdolillah, I look much younger than my days.
I am well travelled person and enjoy seeing new places very much.
Religion:
I try to be as religiously devoted as possible. Would like my wife to assist me here. We all have faults and will fall, as we are human. That’s life. Still trying to work out what this ‘east/west balance’ means. It would be an enjoyable discussion, however I am not here for chats, text buddies etc… Maybe its another way saying that we desire someone who we would feel ‘comfortable’ with.
Interests:
Reading and travelling. Read mainly history, Islam, lives of the pious predecessors. Enjoy learning most life subjects. Enjoy Rumi and the likes.. Would love to have deep and intelligent conversations with my other half. I am a very hands on creative person, also can cook pretty well “shush, don’t tell my sisters I said this :) “
Went to Egypt few years ago to learn Arabic for 5 weeks.
Currently doing the TEFL course, planning to go into teaching
Joys:
My nephews and nieces. Cannot think of anything better to do for the serenity of heart, playing with them and seeing them happy and laughing.
When I like to marry:
Yesterday!! I feel most people are forced here on internet due to some circumstances, whether our fault or not. With sooo many profiles, its easy to get bogged down. If we enter communication, my profile will come off, as it is not fair on others, and I don’t like the idea of contacting multiple with silly messages like, “Hi, How is your weekend?...”. Please write a few paragraphs at least. This is not Ebay, which comes with a return guarantee.
Career: Alhamdolillah multi-talented and hard working. Briefly into my background, as my CV is not your standard. Graduated in Optometry many moons ago. Went into Med Rep sales, moved into shipping industry in Dubai, returned back, and currently working in Building and Construction sector. Your head is probably spinning by now. Alhamdolillah it is just the way Qadr has been for me. I’m only stating this now to save so much bother for all, sadly many of us Come from cultures where, Doctor, dentist , optician , pharmacist and like titles are the only tags worthy of a spouse. It’s sad, as this does not define who we really are or how we will behave with our spouse.

What I Am Looking For

I hope the girl can support me in my life’s ambitions, goals and motivates me and gives me strength. I will also be her rock as well and support her in her endeavours. I hope she is on the same emotional level as me, I don't care about physical age, prefer younger than me.

We all have our flaws, and perfection is for Allah alone, however I would like to marry someone who takes me and I take her with all her good qualities and also the weaker as well, and accept her as part of me, both complementing each other.
