A Little Bit About Me
I’ve put a lot of effort into writing as much information as I can to give you a decent idea about myself. So I request you to put an equal effort in reading it before getting in touch. Thanks and read on! :)

I’m a hijabi Muslima doctor. I was born in Mumbai, India but moved to UAE at the age of 3 yrs and completed my schooling and medical education (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree) here. I’ve completed a course in clinical research with distinction but my ultimate aim is to pursue a residency course in the near future.

I am friendly in nature and get along with most people but am generally shy at first especially in large groups. I take my time to understand a person before I feel comfortable enough to be myself around them. However, I enjoy entertaining my close friends and family and making them laugh. I can be serious when required and hyper when the mood strikes me. I make a good listener and try to advise friends to the best of my ability when they request for it. I am understanding and always try to put myself in the shoes of others. I’m considerate of others and dislike inconveniencing people in general.
I enjoy photography and tug around my DSLR and lens on every outing and vacation. You can say I am an amateur/enthusiast photographer and especially enjoy shooting nature and night time photography. I’m inquisitive by nature and loving learning about new things that interest me eg. gadgets and technology. I’ve been trying to teach myself Arabic for a while now but have been distracted by studies and life in general so I am still not as good as I’d like to be. I am not an expert cook but I can manage a few dishes and cakes and sweets and such. I try to stay fit by visiting the gym on a regular basis (up to 5 times a week) and try to eat a healthy balanced diet.

I am quite down to Earth and find pleasure in the simple things in life. I love travelling which began as visiting our immediate family settled in different parts of the world. I have visited UK, USA, Canada, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and India several times and France once. Hope to take a trip across Europe one day. I’d love it if my husband has been bit by the travelling bug.

I’m very sincere about getting married so I may come across as very formal when talking to someone about it. It only represents my seriousness in the matter and desire to keep things halal. I have a pretty decent idea about who I am looking for and ask a lot of questions in trying to get know someone better. So if you express an interest in me, I hope you are prepared for this and I encourage you to do the same.

What I Am Looking For
I'm looking for someone between 27 - 37 yrs of age, never married and well settled in the UK or USA.

I try to practice Islam to the best of my ability however I do not claim to be a perfect Muslim. I am looking for someone similar who gives importance to Islam in their day to day life and believes in making an effort to be a better Muslim. Ideally, I’d like my husband to pray 5 times daily or should make a sincere effort towards it. Fasting in Ramadan and eating only halal food is a must. It would be perfect if he has plans in future to perform Hajj. Although I have already performed both Umrah and Hajj, I would really love to perform Hajj with my husband as well.

I enjoy attending lectures and webinars on Islam and reading Islamic books and hope to find someone who has a similar interest in improving his knowledge about our deen. I’m Sunni and even though I mainly practice Islam as per the Hanafi fiqh, I do not follow a particular school of thought.

I am an honest, caring and understanding person with a pleasant demeanour and am looking for someone with similar qualities. As an only child of my parents, I hope to work after marriage and having children in order to be able to care for my parents and would like someone who is open to this and supports my decision in this regard. I do understand that marriage is not just about your own goals but your goals as a family and my priority will remain my future husband and our children, inshaAllah and will make adjustments accordingly.

I’m looking for a best friend who is mentally and emotionally ready to take on the duties of a husband. He wouldn’t mind sharing responsibilities and will enjoy spending time with his wife and future children as much as possible. He is humble, helpful, trustworthy and modest in his dealings with others and above all best towards his family. A good conversationalist but also one who takes time to listen and understand without passing judgements. Not one who lies, is arrogant or boastful and vengeful.
