A Little Bit About Me
- I have lived, worked, or studied in Pakistan, Canada, USA, Sweden, Botswana, Vanuatu
- I have visited : Egypt, turkey, Kyrgyzstan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Germany, UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Fiji, Namibia, South Africa
- I have two bachelors and I'm working on two masters degree.
- I have received 20 awards and scholarships to date, and counting hopefully
- I will travel as I need to, for work, school and for service. That's an unnegotiable for me. I'm well educated in Islamic opinions and know about enough scholars who say that women can travel alone
- I have invested in real estate and if all goes according to plan, then by 40 or 45, I project to have $500,000 (yes, half a million) in real estate / net worth value. Don't worry for me though, I intend to sign a prenup to ensure that this property remains mine
- Other than a mortgage, I'm largely debt free. No school or credit card loans
- I have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016. While you should have the good sense to use google to find out what this means, I'll be generous with my time and tell you : bipolar is a mood disorder, which means without medication, people can go between depression and manic episode.
During a manic phase, people have above-average energy levels, and may not sleep much. People with bipolar are known to be high achievers and very creative. I'm definitely the former (as you can see by my profile) and working on cultivating the latter.
-I am on medication which means that I haven't had an episode for 3 years. Insha'Allah I intend to live another 40 - 50 years without any future episodes. If you feel the need to ask me about my bipolar disorder in our first chat or meeting, then we are probably not a good match and you definitely need to work on your etiquette
- I'm a survivor of sexual and spiritual abuse, and meeting my abuser triggered my first ever manic episode and which I I believe caused my bipolar disorder. Black magic was also involved. Don't ask me any more about this. If you gain enough trust then maybe I'll tell you one day the fine details. But my story and pain is not there for your entertainment
In the short term, these are my goals
- I aim to have 10 degrees by the time I'm 45
- I intend to foster or adopt children, before or after marriage
