A Little Bit About Me
Hi, I not sure how to start this of, but anyways..
I was raised in India before moving to France to complete by bachelors - currently, I am in Dubai working in the media industry for the past 5 years. Although, ethnically Indian, people most often pass me of as an Arab/Iran/Levant - I am fair, athletically build, always well dressed (overall good looking) with a rich-western flair (without the attitude lol). I travel often and have visited many countries which has opened by horizons to various cultures, lifestyles & outlooks - I feel, this has made me more open, flexible, adaptive and in certain ways humble and always thankful for Allah's endless bounties. As a person, I would describe myself as well-spoken, kind-hearted & merciful, coming from a very well known and established family (all praise is due to Allah alone). Once you get to know me, I am extremely jovial, humourous and fun to be around, and your boredom will go out of the window insha Allah.
Moving onto matters more important - my deen. I have always been a practicing muslim (walilaha'il hamd) - My parents & grandparents instilled that in me at a very young age. After moving to Dubai, Allah guided me to the path of Muhammed (SAWS), the best generations after that and the imams of the salaf as Prophet salalahu alayhi wa salam : “The best of people are my generation then those who succeed them, then those who succeed them" and as Imam Al-Awza’i said: “Patiently restrict yourself upon the sunnah, stop where the people (ie the companions) stopped, say what they say and refrain from that which they refrained. Traverse upon the path of your Salaf al-Salih, for indeed what was sufficient for them is sufficient for you.”- trying hard to stick to the Sunnah to the best of my ability. I am currently taking baby steps in learning from the books of our scholars, Hopefully aiming to learn/master Arabic soon Insha Allah..

What I Am Looking For
I'd like someone who has the below:
- Deen: I am looking for someone who sincerely loves this deen (either upon Salafiyyah) or not; however if your not, your love for islam will insha-Allah guide you to the path, the salaf traversed.
I wish i could highlight this in bold - Someone who is completely willing to submit to what Islam implicates upon you.
Please, No - ultra career-urientated women who want to lead from the front... I'll try to do that to the best of my ability insha Allah, As Allah said in Surah An-Nisa: “Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has made one of them to excel the other and because the men spend from their wealth to support their women…”
- Looks - preferably Arab/Caucasian fairly good looking at least (not looking for potential models or movie stars lol.. But you catch the drift)
- Knowledge of Arabic or we can learn it together Insha Allah
- Willingness to learn seek knowledge of the Quran & Sunnah.
- Personality-wise.. someone who easy-going, flexible, caring & deeply loving
