A Little Bit About Me
Someone once told me you haven't seen yourself except as a reflection in a mirror or photograph. Thus, I don't know how accurate are the things I know about my character. So, my name is Faruque; I'm 26 years old. I'm currently living in New York. I would describe myself as intelligent, creative, and analytical. I love to listen, gain knowledge, and be there for others in need. I’m constantly looking for ways to improve myself. I am a fun-loving guy who enjoys going out to dinner, movies, outdoors activities (hiking, skiing, football), and drive around town. I am very blessed to be surrounded by a lot of incredibly supportive friends and family. I'm very involved in my communities so I would love to have someone who loves giving back as well. I have three siblings and no pets yet :( I don't own a TV and haven't for years. As for my sense of humor, it's very dry and sarcastic.
Family is very important to me, at the same time I enjoy my autonomy. I don't pray five times a day, but I fast and try to uphold the basics of Islam; I'm more spiritual than religious. I am a lifelong learner who is interested in many different intellectual topics. I would love someone who motivates and challenges me on my deen game.

What I Am Looking For
I'm serious about finding someone I'm compatible with, but at the same time, don't want to rush into things- especially since this online thing is new. I am looking for a best friend and partner-in-crime (well, at least partner-in-adventures.) Someone who is honest, loyal, caring, willing to explore, learn, and grow while journeying towards some manner of a mutual goal. Someone progressive in their views. Someone who enjoys music and movies, with a good sense of humor, an open mind, and a curious spirit. Someone passionate about the self-driving cars (optional). Someone who has a sense of humor, and an open mind about life. Someone who enjoys traveling, and would like to see the world with me. Someone who challenges herself and the status quo, and isn’t afraid to question. Interest in outdoor, physical activities is also great.

I can't live without: my family, good friends, running, cleaning, traveling somewhere that's rich in natural wonders and culture, and long drives. Patiently waiting for GoT to return. I have always been conscious of my surroundings and the universe itself. I can be random, mysterious, and awkward at times. I enjoy the city night life, volunteering for soup kitchen.
