A Little Bit About Me
Salaam to you all. My name is Evaa Rashid and I am 23 years old. I am a British-Bangladeshi girl from Ilford, Greater London and I am the eldest of 4 siblings (2 sisters, 1 brother).
First of all, I was a bit concerned about writing a generic marriage CV as they show ZERO personality on paper. So, I though I’d spice things up a bit and show the “zing” in me.
I am a cheerful, talkative and optimistic Sylheti geek from London. In 2018, I graduated in doing Pure Mathematics in Queen Mary University of London. A year later, I completed a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics at University of East London.
Now, I work in Customer Services for 2 companies: a bank and a supermarket.
At home, I like to do a multitude of things. I help out the family with cooking, cleaning, laundry, looking after younger siblings, tech support (you know, for the times) and for myself, playing on my piano/keyboard, doing puzzles like Sudoku, drawing, writing (poems and essays), exercise, going out with friends, travelling and the list goes on. I also like to watch classic TV, movies and listen to classic tunes from the 80s, 90s and 00s.
I am also a nutter for concerts, theatre shows and entertainment venues (just not alone of course).
What I Am Looking For
Someone who is obviously Muslim and Bangladeshi. However, I also want him to be kind, funny, outgoing, well-balanced, well-educated and above all, pure of heart. I want him to be understanding of what I go through mentally, trustworthy, fun and if it is Allah's plan for me, be close by, so I don't have to go too far away from family.
I want him to really impress my siblings as well as my parents. After all, they are the ones who pushed me to find the one who is “cool”. Moreover, I don’t want him nor his family to judge me only by what’s written on here, only by the “unravelling” of the mystery (ooh, I like that).
Inshallah, I hope you are the one 😉.
P.S. My Bengali is a bit rubbish. Sorry!
