A Little Bit About Me
Apparently I'm confident, outgoing, loyal, cheeky, strong and very affectionate!
I can cook reasonably well, in fact I find it quite therapeutic (not an invitation for you to invite the 6 aunts, 23 cousins, 12 nephews and the neighbour's cat over every week for Sunday lunch!!!). sorry!
I am very active and excercise is integral to my lifestyle. Am quite adventurous;love to explore and experience new things. Big movie fan, enjoy theatre, but above all relish stimulating company. Have a great bunch of friends mashallah and am close to family, especially parents. Never been a daddy's girl so hopefully no Diva tendencies here!
Other interests include travel, usually several times a year. I am also engaged with charitable and political causes close to my heart.
I'm told I smile a lot (or maybe that's just wind lol!). I'm fairly philosophical about life and consider my glass to be half full, therefore regularly count my blessings alhamdulila!
However..., still waiting for my prince to find me, daft beggar.... wish he'd get a sat nav!
I generally have a 'can do' attitude to life and relish challenges. I will always go the extra mile for those I love, and am fortunate to have the care and compassion of some lovely people in my life, for that I am eternally grateful!
My bad points are a plenty, so just for starters, I can be a little impatient at times;I can talk for England, as you may have guessed lol!. Am maybe too independent for the traditional type...well that's what comes of being single for so long;I can also be a bit stubborn and am way too over analytical. I'm a big fat wuss when it comes to my loved ones and probably worry about them too much. I'm rather fussy when it comes to guys, 'or so I'm told' (but I think i just know what I want, and don't like stringing anyone along for the sake of it).
Okay, let me try to redeem myself somewhat with a few positive traits re-injected at this point in my ramble...I am pretty decisive, don't play mind games, strong & steadfast in supporting others. I am consistent, loyal and not afraid of hard work. I am demonstrative of my affections and not too proud to say sorry. Above all, I do a mean spicey roast dinner mmmmmm!

What I Am Looking For
Probably the impossible... a man that understands a woman. Someone comfortable being themself; a thoughtful, modest, honest, compassionate, witty, family orientated guy. I know, I know what planet am I on haha!
I would be suited to someone who is easy going, accepts diversity; wishes to improve as a muslim; is able to balance a healthy lifestyle in an environment that tempts us otherwise;is fun loving, affectionate, craves knowledge and new adventures, is ambitious but keeps his eye on the important things, deen, health, family, charity, etc. Someone who takes care of their physical and mental wellbeing.
Physical attraction, although important to us all, is greatly influenced by personality and character for me. Therefore physical attributes come slightly lower than the other priorities on my list, but no quasimodo lookalikes please, I ain't that charitable haha! (sorry, forgive my cheek!) Just so you know though, I prefer a tall, lean/athletic build.
