A Little Bit About Me
I'm a 38 year old woman who lives in Toronto, Canada. I am a recent revert to Islam, and very excited about it! I ran my own successful video editing business for 12 years, and have now gone back for schooling to upgrade my skills as programs and equipment have changed. Currently I am both in school and working as a library assistant to pay the bills. I am 5'8" in height and weigh about 250 lbs or 17 stone, so I am a bigger woman. I am, however, committed to bringing that number down for my health and the enjoyment of my husband. I am also a fun, good-natured, sometimes ironic but absolutely life-loving woman. Islam has awakened a newness in me that I cherish. I am still learning the ropes, but I'm having an immensely good time doing so.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a good, kind, moderate and pious Muslim man in Canada, the US or the UK to marry and start a family with. I already have citizenship in Canada and the US, but I would need help moving to the UK (paperwork or whatever is needed to emigrate). It would make the most sense for me to find someone in Toronto, so I will be looking nearby first! Age-wise, I would say I would say I was looking for someone around 30-55, but age really is no boundary if we are a good match.

I am hoping Insha' Allah to start a family right away. I would love to have several children, but I will be satisfied by whatever Allah sees fit to grant me. I am happy to work to help support the family, or stay at home and raise the children, whichever is needed and/or wanted at the time.

I'm also looking for someone who loves cats. This is very important for me as I am a big cat-lover! Ethnicity and skin colour is not important to me. Good looks are nice, but almost anyone can look good, and anyway it's not good looks that make a solid marriage!
