A Little Bit About Me
To Parents:

I am never one to believe that marriages can be arranged. I have only recently warmed up to the idea of introduced marriages. I am a very practical person, need to see it to believe it. I come from a very close knit family based now in Pakistan, very well travelled. At home I have a loving mum, and a hero of a dad. Who I love and admire dearly.

The boring bits (but important for you) are that I am employed, financially independent, based outside of Pakistan, have a career in media work in a Director level role, and one of the most respected digital marketers in China. I have lived very little in the country, but that doesn't mean I am not of it. :)

To the Siblings:

I too have a brother and sister. Closer to each other than they are to me. (I am a middle child and carry that syndrome to date). They educated, patient, respectful, curious, confident, and like myself very opinionated. The great thing about having siblings is that you always have someone to confide in, even when its difficult to talk to the parents. My sister has been for a long time a mediator between my parents and I (I have always been the black sheep of the family, but in a good way!). My brother always my ambassador within our household.

There is only one way to know. Life is about taking risks. I have been self dependent ever since I turned 19. And I thrive on being being free of - responsibility, sadness, dependency, secrecy, imposed control. This too is a risk, but the payout even if tinged with pockets of sadness is to look back 30 years from now, and say that every day counted - to those around me, and to those we lost along the way.
