A Little Bit About Me
How others would describe me: Friendly, caring, helpful, adventurous… but also safety conscious! (my family tease me about being little Miss Safety). I can be a bit shy… it just takes a little time for me to come out of shell.

I love to be outdoors in nature, going for walks in the hills, woodlands, parks or coastal walks. I’m into mindfulness, meditation, self-compassion and positive psychology.
Living in London, I try to make the most of the cultural events the city offers enjoying exhibitions, theatre, independent cinemas and I spend a lot of time hanging out with my siblings and nephew and nieces.

I’ve had a few travel adventurous- for a year I lived on a small island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean and I recently spent 2months solo travelling in Ghana, West Africa connecting with some community NGOs. I love to travel, whether that is for short city breaks, or longer more exotic locations. I’m drawn to the sea.

I like to try new things and over the years have tried all sorts of classes, from art, to Spanish, dancing, volunteering breaks… to be honest my sticking power with these things hasn’t always been so strong but I do have a curious mind. I also really enjoy going to talks and events.
I like listening to all sorts of music- pretty old skool with the likes of Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, and used to be an indi fan in my student days.

I’ve always worked in the charity sector, really believe in the value and ethos of my work and I’m looking for someone who isn’t all about the money and the fast cars.
