A Little Bit About Me
Asalamualaikum,

My name is Ali. I work at a major university as a research scholar and lecturer. I am in the final year of completing my Ph.D. I grew up in a typical Pakistani household in Atlanta, GA. I speak both Urdu and English fluently. I am one of four siblings and probably the coolest in the group (but my sister and two brothers would disagree). We are a very close-knit family and I always try to set a good example for my younger brothers and sister. I have a good sense of humor and try to see the funnier side of things. I have a fun loving nature with an open minded approach towards life. I'm the eternal optimist who sees good in everything and everyone.

I consider myself to be fairly adventurous and outgoing. I enjoy outdoor activities like jogging, hiking, basketball, soccer, cricket, and paint-balling, to name a few. I like staying active and busy. I enjoy traveling and trying new foods. I like working out and am committed to staying fit. Running and listening to music are my two favorite hobbies. I do pray my namaz regularly and adhere to my religious obligations. I strive to find a good balance between deen & duniya and eastern & western cultures.
