A Little Bit About Me
I'm usually good at expressing myself but give me a box to write about myself in and I become unstuck.

I would describe myself first and foremost as a muslim, and deen is something that is important to me when looking for a husband. I am looking for someone that I can grow into my deen with, or if your already on your journey, someone who is patient and knowledgeable enough to get me up to speed.

I'd like to say i'm quite funny, definitely loyal and somewhat ambitious. I enjoy learning (does that sound a bit geeky?) and find myself on a constant quest to gain knowledge about everything. I left home (I am originally from Birmingham) for university (I went to university in Brighton) and have a degree and a masters.

In regards to my background, I come from a good family with sound moral, religious and cultural attributes.

I've completed my education (for now, id like to do a PhD at some point) and have embarked on a career in medical advertising. I take my ambitious nature from my mother- who owns her own law practice.
I am the eldest of my siblings and have lived away from home studying and pursuing my career for the last 12 years. I have a degree in Medical Science and a Masters in Global Health, and for the last 7 years have been working in the city towards my career in pharmaceutical advertising.

What I Am Looking For
Looking for someone a bit older than myself, who has come to the realisation that life is better lived as a two.
I think you only get to that stage of realisation once you have developed your own interests as a person and thus have something to bring to the table.

Well-educated, well-spoken and mature. Someone who has some life experience outside the cultural norm, who is ready to begin the next chapter of their life.

I have a metaphorical list i guess of what i'm looking for, but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes, i'm just listing everything on here, as if you don't ask you don't get (plus the point of an arranged marriage I feel is to try and get as close to what you want right?)

I want my husband to be my best friend and my companion. When it comes to marriage, although I have been born and raised in England I guess my views can be seen as somewhat traditional (but with a bit of a modern twist). although I definitely want a career, I see my role within a marriage to be the caring, nurturing one, to support my husband emotionally, to take care of all the homely things that need to be done, to raise our children and in general make sure our house is a harmonious one. In regards to my husband, I want him to be emotionally strong and supportive, knowledgeable, kind and loyal. important to me is that the lines of communication between myself and my partner are always open and so I would like a husband that is able to express himself.
