A Little Bit About Me
I currently work full time for a national charity. Although my family is now settled in the UK I have spent my childhood in Saudi Arabia.

I strive to keep cultural practices and the dictates of deen separate. I find authentic knowledge of Islam to be a much stronger foundation for leading one's life than cultural traditions passed down without thought.

Being able to recognise Allah's presence in my life is by far my biggest blessing. As such I make effort to live by that which pleases Him although there is certainly a way to go. The objective is to keep improving inshallah.

I enjoy intelligent conversation, like to read and learn and am a bit of a deep thinker. I'm not materialistic Alhumdulillah and believe helping others is only the least of what we can give back when Allah has blessed us with so much.

I do have a sarcastic streak though it is always in humour. I will provide a list of other vices when the time comes!

I have read in several places that Allah's Mercy/Forgiveness overpowers His Anger and like to strive for a similar way of life.

What I Am Looking For
I'd like to meet someone from a professional background with a good personality who is ambitious yet moral and keen on practicing his deen.

In an ideal world one would think being a good muslim automatically translates to being a good person. Unfortunately there are many who fast and pray yet suffer from poor morals and values. I would like a partner who instills the moral code of Islam in their day to day life not just the physical.

I'm looking for someone who would like to learn and apply Islamic values and principles to their life on a daily basis and will encourage me to do the same.
