A Little Bit About Me
Salaam 'alaykum
I am a soul who has witnessed my Creator, as we all have, and I want to reach Him ﷻ again. I aim for marriage to be a means for this, insha'Allah.

Having been married before, I've learnt that although life has its difficulties and marriage comes with its challenges, being able to love, laugh and live makes the journey beautiful. My family and friends would describe my personality as warm, bubbly and social.

I hold a real importance in seeking Islamic knowledge, sitting with teachers/Awliya, attending gatherings of light and love of our Beloved Messenger ﷺ and trying to serve the community. I have completed basic fard 'ayn knowledge and have continued into purification/tasawwuf-based knowledge. Alhamdulillah, I am on the journey of learning Arabic- painful, but insha'Allah worth it.

My work is *not* my life, and I'm in the process of making changes in order to focus more on Islamic studies as well as being able to give my due attention to marriage when the time comes insha'Allah. I embrace my femininity and see it as a strength rather than a weakness, in a world where the fabric of our fitrah is being torn apart and sadly, women are increasingly becoming more masculine.

In terms of my interests and hobbies, I am a very outdoorsy person. Nature is a place where I find peace and a greater connection to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. I enjoy horse riding, hiking, stargazing and I regularly go for walks. I enjoy hosting friends and family, cooking, having meaningful conversations with loved ones and connecting with people. I love to read. I enjoy exercise, and hold the ethos that our lifestyle should prioritise our mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.

What I Am Looking For
It is really important for me to connect with someone who has similar values and long-term priorities as myself (as above). Someone on a path of 'tassawuf' is essential. And a minimum of having studied the obligatory Islamic knowledge is also essential.

Only interested in someone who wants to have a life-long monogamous marriage, who wants to be a team and make positive changes and contributions to this world and the Hereafter, insha'Allah.
