A Little Bit About Me
Around 11 years ago, I left Pakistan following my career with a multinational German company. I am permanently located in Germany since 6 years.

This wonderful experience of living outside my homeland has simply enriched my life. I became open to new cultures. I turned out to be a global citizen, a progressive Muslim and a tolerant person. I start loving my culture and background more than ever before. I consider myself well integrated in my second home and I value it very high.

I am an emotional and sensitive person. I let my heart govern me most of the time. I believe in fairness and try my best to be fair with others. I am very accommodative in relations and have good social standing. I am really do not like religious as well as gender discrimination.

I am pretty organised person. I am not moody. What else…I am not a morning-person but I can mange to reach office well in time. I can cook and mange households. I am lucky to have a large family. Although they live far away but they are very important for me.

I believe that honesty, respect and communication are basis of any relationship. These are my values and I am seriously seeking a match.

In my free time, I pursue my interests or just spend time unwinding myself. I can also watch lot of TV (good for my German) or lay on couch to slow down. Sports and outdoor activities keep me active and fit. I consider it important. I enjoy watching movies (mostly not main stream rather drama, cult and dark humour). Mira Nair and Deepa Mehta are one of my favourite directors. I have interest in ‘Desi cooking. These days I am more listening to Pakistani music. I start liking it a lot. I wonder why I simply ignored it in the past. Occasionally I am also interested in history/architecture and photography. I am fan of Wikipedia. I like to read books especially authors from South Asia. I made lot of lists.

When it comes to holidays, I have liking towards city tours. I plan to visit all capitals of Europe and want to see more of Pakistan. Beach holidays, single day hikes or camping is something which I have also occasionally enjoyed. I do not have the urge to be always on the move. Sometimes just staying at home (for a day or two) is also fine for me.

It is not easy to write about oneself. I use word ‘I’ a lot in this introduction. I could not find another direct approach. The intention behind this is to give an impression about me to the reader. I am open to share more to those who are interested.

What I Am Looking For
No matter what I write here it all boils down to how we get along when we interact. However few words about what I think is important for me.

I will consider myself lucky if she is well educated and is of the Pakistani origin. It will be super if she can talk or understand Punjabi. Sect or cast is of no importance for me. She is moderate as far as religion and rituals are concerned. She dares to ask and understand the religion. She is a bit of intellectual and full of life. I consider it important that she has exposure to life abroad (so that she knows how it feels to live in two worlds and how to get right balance). She does not hate travelling.

Let me make it simple. I'm looking for someone I connect with, my soul-mate. I know it's a over-used word but it really is what I'm looking for!
