Salaam!

I’m Sumaiya. The younger of the 2 siblings, the apple of my parents eyes and needless to say the most pampered in the family 🙈😛

Pursued a bachelors in computer science engineering in India and then moved to UAE 5 years ago. I live in this beautiful city of Dubai with my parents and working here in the Digital Marketing sector of a reputable firm.

Alhamdulillah Allah has blessed me with everything I can ask for and more. A good family, a good job, a good lifestyle, a big extended fam of uncles and aunts, the sweetest of nieces and nephews and lots and lots of cousins whom I love 😅

Family get-togethers, BBQ parties and potluck dinners are my absolute favorites. I love outdoors! Layla and Noora are my companions for almost all my outdoor activities. If we match in sha Allah I promise I’m gonna reveal their identities to you 😄 Besides being able to survive on chocolates I also enjoy all types of food and cuisines. I wish to travel this beautiful world that my lord has created and if Allah wills with my spouse. I am upbeat, optimistic and believe in the greater wisdom behind every situation in life 😇

And of all the things that Allah has blessed me with, there is nothing I’m more grateful for than being chosen Islam for me as my religion. I’m not perfect, I’m flawed and I’m still a work in progress. Hijab was a constant struggle but one fine day out of Allah’s mercy hijab found me and the rest is history. My faith is everything to me. It’s what keeps me going in life.

It’s not just about performing my 5 daily prayers, reciting the Qura’n and fulfilling my obligation towards Allah. But it’s also to be able to put into practice the teachings of the Quran and the sunnah in my daily life! I enjoy practicing my deen. It’s what teaches me to be a little more kind everyday, to be a little more humble, little more forgiving and a little more grateful for the countless favors that Allah has bestowed upon me.

Allah SWT says in the Quran that among his signs is that he created for us mates from among ourselves so that we may dwell in tranquility with them. I’m seeking to find that other half of mine that lord almighty has created.

For those early morning jogs, late night walks, to travel the world, to cook together and most importantly to raise each other in our imaan and to love one another for the sake of Allah.

I wish for me and my partner to be a righteous couple who’ll prepare for this life and jannah together In sha Allah!

What I Am Looking For
