A Little Bit About Me
Bismillah and Salaams,
This is probably the last place where I thought I'd be. However after witnessing and experiencing a very close family members wedding where the bride and groom met each other in this very site, I was blown away at how much chemistry, love and compatibility they found with each other. Its true what everyone says, you never know where or when it will happen, you just need to have faith that it will, at the right time when HE chooses to. (iA)
So on that note, here we are...
A bit about my background: Im born and raised in Toronto, favorite place in the world. Origin is of Pakistani desent. Parents are from there, namely Lahore and Karachi
Education: Completed my bachelors and currently working in the Financial Services Industry.
I would describe myself as a girl who wears her heart on her sleeve. That's probably not something most girls would admit to, but I have no shame in doing so. Audrey Hepburn describes me perfectly, I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it. Being born and raised here, with the help of great parents and an amazing upbringing, Im proud to say that I have lived a modern yet conservative lifestyle. I know how to enjoy life to the fullest without crossing my religious boundaries. Im a strong cultured girl, can speak Urdu and Punjabi fluently even write a little bit and am extremely family oriented. I absolutely adore children - what girl doesnt! We have a huge family of little rugrats (mA) and my weekends are mainly spent with them.
I dont have specific hobbies, very spontaneous and random. Will try anything and everything. Flaw? Id have to say I'm a very picky eater and that's because cooking is my passion. I have a very high regard for food and how it should taste so I'm often the one hosting for friends and family. I love to entertain my near and dear ones and the perfect Friday or Saturday night for me would be the company of good friends, great food and laughs.
Sports fan. Yes. Hockey and Basketball. Although I must admit only during playoffs/finals. Yes you may call me bandwagon hopper but hey... with 2 bros and an extension of 10 male cousins who are sports fanatics, I know a thing or two.
I believe my life experiences till date have shaped me into the girl I am today and strongly believe that I understand the true sanctity of marriage and how Islam has blessed us with this beautiful union. I know and understand what my role as a wife would be as described by Islamic law and wish to apply that into practice one day. Completed Umrah (aH) and that experience itself has changed my perception about my deen and imaan like you can never imagine. Its an experience which I can talk about for hours on end, I pray that Im blessed with a husband who can me take me there again one day (iA).
Photo: like 90% of girls on this site I also don't have mine for obvious reasons. However if and once we establish a sound introduction and common ground I don't have issues exchanging pics.
Like I mentioned before, I was very skeptical about completing an online profile. I guess there is somewhat of an ego there or apprehensiveness when it comes to online agencies. After witnessing my close family's experience with Single Muslims and not only find an amazing husband but a loving family, there's no harm in trying this out! So, if you're seriously considering marriage, like what you see and want to be the guy who drives me crazy but I still cant get enough of, you know what to do :)
Finally getting married is completing half your deen and subhanAllah what a wonderful way to do so.

What I Am Looking For
As my headliner states: "deen, imaan and takwah"
These three (legit) qualities in a man, although easy to state to have, are probably the most difficult to find, especially these days. Im looking for someone who maintains strong deen, is family oriented and knows how to enjoy life. Who will help me prepare for my akhirah and also make it a fun filled journey to get there. I don't fancy people who are money obsessed and materialistic.
An intelligent man knows that the right woman brings barakah into his wealth. A man who knows how to treat a woman LIKE a woman. Make her feel appreciated and loved and respected. Someone who makes me feel like I've entered a room and made my presence just by the way he looks at me.
I want someone who leads me in life but also picks me up when I fall. With the right partner I have full faith I can be his partner in crime now and in the hereafter Inshallah :)
