A Little Bit About Me
Asalaamu Aliykum, I am currently looking to get married as I am sick of missing half my religion. I am a revert Muslim and I work as registered nurse by profession and it is a job that I absolutely love. I feel that I am a very compassionate person and I love to work in a job where I am able to help others. That being said I love my time off. When I'm off I like to do various activities that are outdoor like hiking, hanging out on the beach or river, or just sit in the sun. Indoor activities that I enjoy include Brazilian jiu jitsu, reading, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends. I feel that I have a very positive attitude and I tend to joke around a lot and I absolutely love making people laugh. If you're not ready for a goof ball then you might not want me. I've been told I've got a great smile and I feel like I'm always smiling much of the time. That being said I do feel I am a fairly responsible person. While I do like to play I make a strong effort to ensure that my responsibilities are taken care of. As a revert Muslim I feel that I have come far and I try to improve myself as a Muslim. I do have my ups and downs but I have always fulfilled the 5 pillars of Islam. I am a person that works on my spirituality and I am a murid in the Shadhili tariqa so if this is a problem for you don't contact me. I am looking for someone that is like minded or will not get in the way of my spirituality but instead help me to grow as a Muslim and be patient with me and help me as a partner. I've been a Muslim for 15 years now and I know my deen, maybe not as well as I would like to but I have a good base of knowledge. What I Am Looking For
Asalaamu Aliykum, I am looking for a good, honest, strong muslimah that is willing to put up with me and slap me around if needed. Humor to me is a fantastic thing, and I really would want someone that could either appreciate humor or be humorous themselves. The last thing I want is a woman yelling bida at me all the time. That being said I do practice an Islamic life and would expect the same. I am not perfect so I will not expect my wife to be either but I do expect effort and dedication to me (as I will be dedicated to you) and in addition to that I do expect my wife to be someone that prays the salaat 5 times a day, wears hijab, and does her very best to implement the command of Allah in her everyday life and encourages me to do the same. The woman for me is an active woman. This does not mean that I'm looking for a woman that looks like a cover girl but I keep myself healthy and I want a wife that does the same. I also think it should be known that I know myself well enough that I am looking for a woman that I am attracted to (and I would hope you're attracted to me as well) as I feel that there is a chemistry that exists between people that helps to build that love that I hope to have soon.
