A Little Bit About Me
I am single (youngest in the family) and have always lived at home with my parents. I am born in the UK. My parents are well educated and immigrated as adults from Pakistan to the UK before my birth and are fluent in both Urdu and English. As a result I am able to only understand Urdu but cant speak it very well (basic sentences/ slang).
I am family orientated and am from a small family (one brother only). Almost all my family that I have contact with live (apart from household) in Pakistan. Therefore I do not have a very big social life within the muslim community.
I consider myself to be a practicing muslim and am conscious of following obligations (Fardh) actions and abstaining from haram actions (I understand that I am not perfect and nobody is and there is need for improvement as well). I read the Quran daily and revise surahs that I have memorized. I often read the English translation as well.
After graduating from The University of Manchester I have done a variety of jobs in offices, hospitals (NHS) and within education (School/ College). My last few jobs (were working in a hospital (NHS) and I have gone through small intervals without work.
On my days off work I do food shopping, volunteer in a variety of charity shops (I believe in helping all regardless of their background), listen to islamic talks online or on the tv, relax in the garden and sometimes watch a bit of sport (usually cricket or football).
Generally speaking I only eat cooked meals for evening dinner so if anybody cannot cook well it will not be a huge problem. I enjoy asian sweet dishes and desserts and eat a variety of cakes.
If you have any further questions you are most welcome to message me and I will respond. I will be viewing my message (inbox) regularly. Eventually if things develop family involvement will be important at a VERY EARLY STAGE. Before ANY photo swap etc... there will be a series of questions to determine if we are possibly suited for each other.
What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a practicing muslim so that we can worship Allah together. I am welcome to consider marrying any from any ethnicity (being able to speak English is necessary) as this is the language I am most fluent in. Anybody not born here and reverts are also most welcome.
I prefer (not essential) somebody
. Family orientated
. Had some experience of higher education
. Aged under 39
I am also willing to consider a rishta (spouse) from Pakistan if or when my circumstances fulfil UK spouse entry from Pakistan.
Please no time wasters
I wish all the success in finding a good rishta/ spouse
