A Little Bit About Me
A little bit about my dear friend: Firstly I want to explain the reason behind why I am doing this on behalf of my friend. She signed up to this website last year and didn't seem to find any luck, which has resulted in her loss of faith in this route for finding a husband. But, all faith is not completely lost, I will try and save the day.

She, who shall not be named at this instance, is an extremely sweet and generous friend of mine that is no less than a sister to me. She is a very sincere individual that looks after the needs of her family and friends. Alongside carrying these incredible traits, she is an extremely hardworking person and understands the value of work and money, which has helped evolve her in to a very responsible young woman.

Her family are extremely important to her, and I am sure almost everyone on this site is family oriented and my friend is no less. She spends a lot of time with her family and whoever she ends up with will need to respect that and not unnecessarily prioritise their family over hers (as I understand some husbands can raise the importance of their own family over the wife's). She is a very kind and caring individual that will ensure her duties as a wife come first.

Lastly, when this girl laughs, she lights up the entire room, she brings a lot of joy in to a lot of peoples lives. She has a fantastic sense of humour and doesn't take life too seriously. I wish everyone on here the best and success in finding a suitable spouse inshaAllah.

*Final Note* She is half Mauritian and half Pakistani, she is fluent in Creole but not so fluent in Urdu, but still understands it. I hope this doesn't affect her chances, as we are from a much more modern and educated society. Her dad is only looking for a Pakistani spouse, for their own reasons, so please take note guys. What I Am Looking For
This part seems so easy, but in reality it's hard to articulate oneself when explaining our wants and desires when referring to a husband or wife...we all more or less want the same thing but then it's not really the same thing.

Please be respectful to what she is looking for so that we don't waste each other's time.

First and foremost, she would like a man who has a good balance of deen and dunya, not too much excitement in the dunya and not too extreme in his religious beliefs. Our beloved prophet (saw) even encouraged to practice our deen in moderation and frowned upon extremism. I do understand that each individual has their own interpretations to what makes a 'practicing muslim', so in this instance she would like someone who balances culture and religion, someone who isn't excessively in to their culture and puts it before our deen. Someone who tries to maintain his pillars of islam and helps her grow in the faith also. Everyone grows in faith at different rates and she wants someone who will uplift and encourage her, and she will do the same for him. Judgemental men - don't even bother.

Another trait she would love would be a man who is sociable that can have a laugh and a joke with her friends and family and isn't a party pooper.
A man who is respectful towards her and allows her to exercise her rights as a wife and she will encourage the same for the man.
Someone who isn't too serious about life but at the same time is responsible when he needs to be.

OK, I don't want to drag this on but the final comment I would like to end on is, her personal preference is of a man who is NO SHORTER than 5ft 10" (she likes wearing heels) and someone who is stable in his career because mashaAllah she is stable in hers.
