A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu'alaikum.

I'm here looking for a friendship that can lead to a serious relationship/marriage. Sorry, I'm not interested in polygamy, neither hook-ups nor flings. If you work in the financial sector that deals with interest, please skip my profile (sorry!).

I have a reasonable balance between Western and Eastern/Islamic ways of thinking. I pray five times daily (I rarely miss my prayers. If that happens I make Qada asap). I believe that our five daily prayers are the pillars of faith, if we do them sincerely. I consider myself as a moderate Muslimah inside and out.

I like cleanliness and keep my personal hygiene well. I keep my house/workspace tidy and clean. I cook/eat healthy food and do my exercise quite regularly (at least I walk 60 mins daily). I try my best to keep in shape. If you smoke (cigarettes/vape/shisha), please skip my profile (sorry!)

I work as an academic at a university in Cardiff. I'm a single mum living with my son who is 11 years old. I have been dedicating my life to raise my child on my own and pursuit my personal development and career in many years really (yet I ain't a workaholic!). What I Am Looking For
I'm looking for someone who takes his religion seriously, someone who is genuine, can reciprocate with me and is emotionally mature.

Someone who is willing to help me in deen and grow together with me gradually in all aspects of life.

I like someone who has a social life but applies clear boundaries in the sense that he knows what is appropriate and what is not when dealing with opposite gender in the social context (e.g. lower his gaze).
