A Little Bit About Me
Assalamu Alaikum.
Disclaimer:
The following profile is based on a true story and the character being represented is real and is in no manner fictitious or an impersonation of a sub-Saharan chameleon.
Also a humble request to the parents/ siblings of potential brides reading this profile, please be patient and share it with your daughter/ sister even if you don't like it :) Let them also get a fair chance to analyze my profile and writings skills!
Bismillah.
Hailing from a lovely close-knitted religious family based out of Al Khobar, KSA and as the middle child amongst 6 siblings (Mashallah), Saleem is a large-hearted practicing Muslim Alhamdulillah who fears Allah SWT in all dealings and who constantly struggles to implement Quran and Sunnah into his lifestyle and strives to be a better Mu'min. He is nowhere near perfect and still has much to learn and is willing to go the distance.
About his character, he is creative yet humble yet witty (rare specie Mashallah!), honest, modest, generous, appreciative, understands family values, has respect for elders and compassion for the needy, full of gratitude & gratefulness; or would at least like to think so! (He thinks it's sort of narcissist to brag about oneself and the best person to provide true feedback about someone's character in this world is one's enemy or arch rival! That's just his opinion though, but it was good enough to land him a job! Not without the will of Allah SWT)
He thinks his sense of humor is pretty average because he cannot tell a joke when someone asks him to "tell a joke". Also, he usually does not refer to himself as a third person but guess is having an out of body experience at the moment :)
Okay on a more serious note, here I am, seeking a life partner and a good companion for a journey to Jannah, Inshallah. A marriage/ companionship to me is all about mutual respect, inspiring and encouraging each other in all aspects of Deen and Duniya, and supporting each other in becoming better Muslims, and most importantly willingness to make compromises if and when required, big or small, by both partners.
There will be a lot of tests, no doubt a bumpy ride with highs and lows, and a lot to learn from/ share with each other during this long blessed journey Inshallah. Therefore patience, persistence, perseverance and positivity are of utmost importance to make it happen, not without the will of Allah SWT.
My life motto: Emaan is the fuel, Duniya is the transportation and Jannah is the final destination, Inshallah. So if your mindset and objectives are commensurate with mine, let's hit the road for a fun-filled joyride and firmly hang on to that rope of Taqwah that leads to Jannah! (Yes, I know, cheesy but deeply philosophical!).
For us Muslims the story doesn't end with "happily ever after" but rather begins with "happily hereafter". (Ya Allah! If only you get a dollar for every cheesy statement I've made here you'd get richer just by reading through this profile. I told you I was the generous type didn't I :D)
Okay, just because in my heart and mind I have an attachment for the hereafter doesn't mean I shun the world, I do not. I shun "worldliness". My goal is to keep the world in my hands and Allah in my heart. I am a risk-taker and Alhamdulillah I have been blessed with creativity, entrepreneurial and management skills and my goal is to Inshallah become a self-sustained Muslim millionaire and be wealthy.
Wealthy not to sustain a super luxurious life but to help/ give Izza to Islam and Muslims,to support the needy, the poor, the community, and to help in spreading the message of Allah SWT which prophet Muhammad SAW did for the Ummah. I firmly believe that if you have failed, you have only increased your chances of success the next time you try. And by the will and Qadr of Allah SWT.
