A Little Bit About Me
Hey you.
Thanks for opening my bio.
I want to start by stating that *Relocation* is an option i am open to exploring.
This bio thing is challenging. I am more of a feel, touch, energy sensing person, the one you can sit with over dinner, talk for many hours about everything & anything with ease, finally realising you still haven’t ordered any food!!
Oh yes - Myers Brigg - I have two types - both vary dependant if it’ is taken early morning or late evening. This has been consistently tested over several years:
- Mornings it is ENTJ
- Evenings it’ is ENFJ
Anyways, does this meaning anything nowadays?
I am proud of my ancestral heritage being Pakistan, where both my parents were born, arriving in the Uk during the early 60’s🇵🇰. I am the second born of 4 brothers, all university educated, married and professionally employed with that scroll called a degree 📜. Perhaps you could say I was the black sheep during my teenage years. That’s another story if we get to a coffee / dinner date and you are ready for belly ache laughter.😆
A little background to me.
British born, bred & raised up north (Yep - where people are friendly, chat a lot and say “hello” ), at present based near Manchester, sometimes working nationally.
Distance is not an issue 👍 (again it’s the worth it test😎).
My friends/ colleagues would describe me as confident, well presented, funny, chatterbox, adventurous and an extremely caring man with wisdom and tact. My daughters describe me as a cool dad, until I say no to using my Visa card!!
I enjoy going out to nice places, be it restaurants, galleries, events and dressing up. I am very sociable, but also a homely person wanting quiet and peace gravitating towards spending quality time with family, friends and experiences.
Love the smell of Oud & exotic fragrances and am a sucker for ladoos & pistachio barfi!! Yes - I do have a sweet tooth and a flat white with almond milk is my morning pick me up boost.
I am cheeky with an awesome sense of humour, mature and grounded yet fun loving.
At times I have been described as a mentor and take responsibility for my words and actions.
I can be very cheeky too with an extremely awesome sense of humour.
Alongside this my personal journey to strive and practise my deen is improving. I have been blessed and fortunate to have performed Umrah twice and wish to go again with my wife within 3 months of marriage. Additionally Route 66, villages of Lisbon & trekking through turkey/ Spain/ Portugal/ Andes / North Africa / Pakistan are on the bucket list.
Claim to fame - Managed to win a place on Marshall Goldsmiths - “Thinkers 100 club”.
I have a positive, exciting & adventurous outlook on life and always try to see the good in every situation.
I have been described as a man’s man, manly, addictive, trustworthy, honest, funny, caring, and emotionally aware. I value meaningful connections and believe a thoughtful, caring partner is far more important than material things. I am what is described as a Sigma personality that would eat up an Alpha by its presence without opening its mouth. !!
Please keep me away from the sales . I have over a 100 pair of shoes - half I’ve never worn!! 😂
I’m looking for someone to build a fulfilling & loving life with where we support, encourage, and grow together as individuals and as a team. I guess this is what we all want? You being on a spiritual path to gain proximity to Allah SWT is imperative as I have started to worship Allah SWT daily. If you don’t pray, don’t want to increase your Ibadah we will not get on.
For those who ask the locality of my paternal heritage, it is from a small rural village, in the Punjab province of Pakistan, descending from a well educated influential Gujjar lineage.
My focus is on creating a fulfilling life, filled with shared experiences, lots of giggles. doing things together and mutual respect. It does not matter what the past has been and what is stored - empty it and let’s move forward making new and amazing experiences.
I’ve played a huge part in raising my 3 daughters, all over 18 living with their mother, and am now ready to embrace this next chapter with someone special. Let’s see where the journey takes us!
An avid Man Utd fan who attends most home matches, enjoys working out, running, martial arts, Muay Thai, trying to understand Rumi / IBNE Arabi philosophy, enjoy coffee, have a sweet tooth for kheer, jalebi, gulab jamun, pistachio barfi and motichor ladoo!!
