A Little Bit About Me
Assalaamu 'Alaikum,

I am a laid back and a down to earth person. I have a good sense of humour (well I like to think I have). I am bubbly person who is always laughing/smiling and enjoys the company of others. I am an honest person who hates lies. I am a sensible, mature and understanding person. I am willing to compromise to avoid arguments as I personally don't like them or the drama involved with them. I appreciate the views of others and don't like ego. I am a good listener and integrate easily with people from different walks of life and enjoy meeting new people.

I would say I have a good balance of modern values as well traditional values. I am a family orientated person as well as someone who has worked hard to build a career. I come from a small close knit family and understand the importance of having a happy home. My preference would be to live with in laws which I know that it might come as a surprise. My family originate from Bangladesh so would like someone who is from there preferably due to language barriers.

I studied ACCA and work as an accountant with a private company. I would like to work after marriage but understand for various valid reasons if that is not the case after marriage and can compromise with that.

My hobbies would be the usual things like going out with family and friends, holidays, movies, bowling, going out for meals. I would like to travel the world one day. I enjoy reading books and learning new things such as I enjoy experimental cooking and baking which I can't fully promise that the results always taste good! I would like to try new extreme activities like bungee jumping etc but I need a brave partner in crime to do so. I also have a soft spot for cars. I am generally happy to go with the flow person as long as the company is good. One thing that I really don't like is shopping which may come as a blessing in disguise for my future husband!
