A Little Bit About Me
I'm friendly, warm, bubbly (out-going personality), fun and loving. I love kids. I'm also educated and beautiful. I'm just at a point in my life where I feel marriage is the next right step and I am looking for a good Muslim man who fits the qu'ranic description of being the "maintainer and protector" of the "righteous woman"... that's me!

I am currently in the process of reverting to Islam. I have not yet taken Shahadah but will soon; this is a step in my life which is very meaningful to me and which I am very serious about. Thus, rushing into it is not the road I wanted to take.

I enjoy the outdoors, I like to workout (gym), travel, have adventures, drive, eat good things, go to the movies, window shop, read books, gather with friends and family, and involve myself in social issues within my community.

What I Am Looking For
* I'm looking for a man, not a boy. Someone who is 29 years old and older. A guy who is established professionally as well as financially, with a stable job, car and a place that we can both call home. I am the ideal daughter-in-law and being family-oriented is important to me. If you have kids from a previous relationship, I don't mind that at all.

* Someone loving who is openly affectionate at times, holds my hand in public without me asking, who will always return my many "I love you"s and who enjoys keeping in contact through text messaging and BBMing. Lol. I refuse to wear a niqab, by the way.

* Physically, I prefer someone who is taller than I am, caring, loving (as stated before), patient, has a good sense of humour but who can also be firm at times. Being a good conversationalist who can talk about everything and absolutely nothing with me all at the same time would be fantastic. I also prefer a guy with well-groomed facial hair, who tries to take care of himself physically as well as spiritually. You don't need to look like a movie-star, just care enough to look good for me!

* I would like someone who will support me in and during my educational pursuits but who will also be interested in making beautiful children with me. :-D While my career is important to me, it does not fall in the upper percentile of my "what's-important-to-me" list. A good marriage and family scores high, though.
