A Little Bit About Me
No matter how this pans out.. I'm going to put my trust in God.

I grew up with three very athletic brothers, so I was a tomboy most of my childhood. I was the kind of girl who grew up watching Jean Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. I didn’t really become "girly" until college came around and I started working. I like florals and pinks. I do have a little sister. I currently live with my mom and dad (and my little sister).

I love outdoor activities like camping, hiking, canoeing, roasting marshmallows, etcetera. When I was younger as a student at Sunday school, we would partake in such activities with other Muslim kids. We would travel far on a big bus. It was a lot of fun. They made it mandatory (I think for character development. The only reason I was allowed to go was because the Sheikh demanded any parents who refused to come see him 😄 . We had a great Sheikh ❤️️ He opened the mosque I go to when he first came to this country. Before, there was only one other mosque in Texas- currently the largest in Texas in Richardson(?). Anyways, many people dreaded the trips but I really liked it.

I also enjoy stargazing and rock hunting. I have a nice collection of rocks and will gladly spend hours digging for additional fossils at creeks or the lake. I also like to look for shark teeth, work in the garden, buy plants and flowers.... I love to go grocery shopping and cannot pass up a good deal on blueberries and strawberries. My favorite fruit is papaya and mango. I am gluten and lactose intolerant, but I am a good cook and can cook with these food items.

I have worked as an Academic Tutor for quite some time and am currently a teacher with VIPKID.

I like to joke around and have a good laugh. I also like being outdoors. I love to read and I even write in my free time (a personal story I’d like to get published one day insha'Allah). I enjoy watching action and scary movies (though it’s not fun by myself. I prefer to be in the company of at least one friend). I really like anime (for those who are curious of the origin of my username- Sharingan). I am a health fanatic and probably eat things you've never heard of. I do enjoy eating Sushi though. Let's have some sushi together 😁 ...or a good cup of coffee. I love coffee

I love animals and I have a cat that will forever stay by my side (Insha'Allah). So I apologize to those who might be allergic. He doesn't go anywhere without me. I also have fish, a large dog, and take care of lots of strays.

I do volunteer work in the city and have had the pleasure to encounter people who have never spoken to a Muslim before in their life. I'm a very approachable human being and not the stereotypical girl who avoids eye contact. I will always try to portray Islam in the best light. That being said, my best feature, I feel, is my smile. A smile goes a long way. And it is sunnah to smile. This is also the first feature I notice on people. (So please smile more).

What I Am Looking For
I would like to be with someone who’s not afraid to try something different. Someone who prays five times a day (or at least tries), who does not smoke, or drink. I want someone who fasts too. I am not asking you to be a Sheikh. Also, I would prefer not to be with an extremist or someone too strict. I want someone who is fun. Someone I can watch action/horror movies with (any Marvel fans?). Someone who can make me laugh and be a good friend to me. Someone who can hear me out and not be expected to have a solution to solve my problems. Trust me, most girls just want someone who can listen to them and show them they care. Sometimes we want to vent our frustrations.

I'd prefer someone laid back and easy to talk to. You have to be a good listener. I just want to know that the person I am with is a true Muslim. Not someone who applies some of the things on Islam in their lives. I do not mind if you listen to music. I hope we can have some pop culture in common as I think it would be easier to develop an interest with someone who shares my common interests (art, literature, fitness, music, islamic lectures, volunteer work.. not in any particular order).

I would like someone who can help me strengthen my relationship with Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى and learn surahs with me. That would be great!

One of the biggest things though, I really don’t want someone who lives their entire existence behind technology or in front of the computer screen. That's not healthy. And speaking of healthy, I am health conscientious, I would like the food in my house to be nutritious. Now, don't get me wrong because I do love food and I will appreciate a good snack and restaurant, but foods that are overly processed or contain unnatural ingredients are not my go-to. As a side note, I do have a little sister and father so my house is never junk food free. I love to cook, so if there’s something you really want or you’re craving, don’t worry, I’ll make it for you =D Even if it’s something like Twinkies. I will give it my all.
