A Little Bit About Me
To know me is to spend time with me: in conversation, in person

Religious perspective:
My number one priority is my relationship with Allah SWT. Everything else mentioned here on my interests, etc comes after that. Each day I'm seeking to maintain and grow stronger in my iman. I do my best to pray all my salah and make up what I miss during my workday. For me, acts of worship are not enough...it's also important to focus on spirituality and really striving to grow that, through purification of the self, inside-out. An ex. of this would be trying to perfect your fast during Ramadan; learning to be content with small portions, working on behaviors and how you carry yourself as a Muslim...etc.
Each day is a struggle but Allah SWT gives me strength to work past my struggles. InshaAllah hope to meet a spouse that will not only serve as my guardian but my partner in this life and the akhira..with ultimate goal being to help each other fulfill our duties to Allah SWT and grow our iman.

My ideal ways of spending free time: in a bookstore and letting my mind roam freely among all the books. Being outside...letting my surroundings capture me as I focus in on the birds singing...listening to the rain and going outside to play in it, listening to the wind blowing in the trees and feeling the cOol breeze calm me from the outside in. It's these moments of slowness that I value most, since I lead a fast pace life.

Not much of a tv person but I do love movies- recent interest in Disney/Pixar animated films.

I'm very motivated and constantly seeking to find the better version of me. Currently working and going to school; seeking second degree.

What I Am Looking For

Finding someone who is exactly like me would be a little boring- I'm not sure who I would connect best with...but a few basic things I'm looking for are: someone who is practicing Islam; not perfect, but at least seeking to become a better Muslim each day and actively working on that. Someone who is compatible, not having exact same interests as me...but at least some similar interests as mine. someone who can keep a good conversation, enjoys play; I'm a total goof ball...and would be nice to have a companion that digs my humor and isn't afraid to join in, enjoys fitness/leads an active lifestyle,(exercising, being active), not afraid to try new things...both small and big. Ex. New type of food or even sky diving.
