A Little Bit About Me
I’m a 38 year old Sunni Muslim from a Pakistani background. I am proud of my heritage and am Urdu and English speaking. Educationally, I come from the creative field having done a BA honours in Visual Communication.

I have many hobbies and interests (you have been warned). Like most people I enjoy travelling (in fact if any of you out there would like to help fund this habit please do get in touch). I also enjoy visiting museums and art galleries, theatres and live music concerts. I try to read whenever I get the opportunity. I keep a small circle of close friends who I enjoy meeting with for meals and hot chocolates (drink of choice; future husband, please take note)*. My friends on social media don’t run into thousands as I’m an avid believer of quality and not quantity.

Amongst my friends and family, I am known for being supportive, positive and honest. I am also someone who is very down to earth, caring and respectful of all people I come across, regardless of colour and faith. I have been brought up in a small but very sweet family (biased? me? never). Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed with a supportive family who have always provided me with love and guidance and as a result am very close to them.

Establishing my level of religiosity on here would be difficult however, it is important to me that my future partner follows the basic tenets of Islam such as keeping halaal and fasting. Mutual respect and companionship is something to be valued and upheld in a marriage and I would hope for this to be of importance to my future partner.

Relaxed and easygoing by nature, I am seeking a like-minded individual and someone who truly appreciates and understands family values. I can appear shy and introverted to those who don’t know me, however I am quick to find common ground. I have the ability to laugh at the funny things in life (but most importantly and most frequently, at myself).
