My name is Omar, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Islamic Studies at Columbia University.

I have memorized the Quran and continuously strive to strengthen my connection with it. My ultimate goal in life is to improve myself both as a Muslim and as a human being, and to contribute positively to Islam.

In the near future, Insha'Allah I aspire to build loving family, peruse a PhD, and grow a small business.

As an individual, I'm independent, family-oriented, and academically-driven. Yet, I also believe in maintaining balance in life. When not busy with studying and research, I enjoy hanging out with friends, cooking, travelling, camping and hiking.
