A Little Bit About Me
I work as a Corporate Finance Manager for a global consulting firm headquartered in Chicago (USA). Education-wise, I have an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Chicago (U of C). I did my BA in Economics from U of C as well.

I enjoy running (I run about 4 - 5 miles every day) / working out, reading, playing pool, watching movies, playing chess, and listening to music. I also enjoy writing poetry and have published some of my work in the past. Another passion of mine is traveling, trying the cuisine of different countries and investing / trading stocks. What about you? What are some of your hobbies / interests?

Personality-wise, I am pretty laid back and mellow. Overall, I am pretty out-going and like making new friends / meeting old ones. I like to think of myself as intelligent, funny and a good conversationalist. Religiously, I am a practicing muslim. I eat zabiha halal and pray 5 times per day...However, I am broad minded in my outlook on life. I like to think of myself as a "thinking" muslim. I consider myself a good / educated blend of "east" and "west". The positives about me are that I am a very kind & genuine person. I am also intelligent, funny & a good conversationalist. What I Am Looking For
1) I am searching for an attractive marriage partner between the ages of 24 to 34 (ideally). Ideally, she should be no taller than 5'5" and should be an emotionally mature person.

2) I would prefer some one who is well educated and ambitious about pursuing a career. And, who comes from a decent / respectable family. However, a good-natured / loving girl who would like to be home-maker would be ok as well. If a girl has a beautiful personality then I am very willing to be very open-minded / flexible regarding my list of requirements.

3) Ideally, she should be a person who takes Islam seriously. I do pray regularly, do NOT smoke or drink and eat Halal regularly. I consider myself a ?moderate? muslim and would like someone who considers themselves ?moderate? as well.

4) Ideally, I would prefer someone who did not practice hijab. However, I consider myself to be open-minded with regards to this and would consider an outstanding girl who does hijab.

5) Ethnically, I am completely open to consideration. I would prefer someone who ideally South Asian or East Asian. However, I am open to muslim marriage partners from any ethnic background. What I am more interested in finding is someone who would help me increase my faith.

6) Ideally, I am also looking for someone who would like to have children within the next 1 ? 3 years. I am very interested in having children / raising a family. Someone who doesn?t want to have children would not be ideal for me.
