A Little Bit About Me
Salaam and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
Looking for a husband has truly been an insightful journey, it provokes you to assess your own personality and attributes into deciding what kind of person you think you are, and who you will be compatible with. So I've thought hard about who I am and what kind of person I am looking for.
I am loyal to all those around me and work hard in everything I do, I have been often described by my friends as kind and caring, and always there when needed.
I am thoughtful, optimistic and have a spiritual inclination. I read the Quran as often as I can and ponder over the verses. I performed Hajj with my parents, subanallah it was an amazing experience, and would love to do it again with my husband, inshallah.
I come from a modest, educated and practising family. The things that are important to me (apart from my family and close friends) are Islam - I look to improve my knowledge about my faith, my etiquettes, and developing new and different life skills.
As well as philosophizing, I also spend my time in gatherings with sisters from the local community.
The current state of the Ummah also concerns me so I motivate myself to make a positive change and try to keep active within the Muslim community and utilise my skills where I can.
Despite my busy work schedule and my main job as a mother, I always find the time to clear my head with a nice long walk and enjoy the scenery, as well as going to the gym to improve my fitness. Furthermore, I like cooking, my friends and family always look forward to my biryani, but credits due to my mother who taught me all my culinary skills.
I love exploring the world, I have an eye for photography so I love snapping away when I'm on holiday, and inshallah I would like to do some more travelling with my husband and enjoy Allah talas creations together.
Overall, loyalty, honesty and courtesy are extremely important to me, and inshallah I look forward to marrying someone who will work together with me to learn and practice more about our deen and together we can guide each towards Jannat-ul-ferdous.
These are the kinds of traits I am looking for in a husband; someone who will complement my character and I will complement his, and who will be there through the good, bad and difficult times.
I am serious about marriage and I hope inshallah to get parental involvement as early as possible. My parents are fully aware of my search and I will keep them updated.
