A Little Bit About Me
Hi, I’m smart, funny and incredibly loyal to those I love and care about. It would be great to meet someone who compliments my personality, and equally someone I feel attracted to. Of course this formula has to work both ways.

Those who know me well describe me as down to earth, and someone who doesn't take herself too seriously. I'm always laughing - most of the time at myself. I really enjoy travelling and can see myself living and working abroad someday. I have been to a few places with family and friends, but know there is so much more to see and do. I am forever hopeful that I will be blessed with a partner that I can share the many joys and adventures of travelling with. I’m always up for a challenge, I’m not the kind of girl who worries about my hair getting wet or my feet hurting from walking too much, actually some people say I’m a bit of tom boy (don’t worry I have long hair and I do look like a girl!).
I enjoy going out for dinner trying out new places to eat with friends. I spend a lot of time reading books. I go to the gym at least three times a week and I’m very much into the whole healthy eating mantra. That doesn’t mean I look like a Bollywood actress but I strongly believe in making an effort to live a healthy lifestyle.

I believe I have a very good balance of east and western values of living life. I know and respect my cultural upbringing. I wear western and eastern clothes as and when it suits the occasion. Although I have to say I think the sari is the most beautiful garment a woman could wear.
I don’t wear the hijab, personally haven’t got to that point in my life where I want to do this for the religious and spiritual reasons (and not as a fashion statement, as some women do). I don’t know when I will get there but I have faith that when the time is right I will follow the path correctly.

What I Am Looking For
I can’t definitively say what I’m looking for as I don’t feel this is something that can really be described or written about; you either like someone or you don’t, it’s a very personal decision and feeling. However on a basic level I can say for certain intelligence, confidence, and a kind and caring persona are highly regarded. A sense of humour may sound cliched, but if I’m going to spend the rest of my life with someone I want to have a laugh and fun doing that. Someone who wants to be in a relationship believes in love, passion, mutual respect and friendship (and not just a woman to cook, clean, and help create mini versions of him!).
Initial attraction is important but only to a certain extent; however I do think that exchanging photos early on is the only sensible and valid thing to do.

I’m not in a rush to get married and would like some time to establish an understanding, and settle down only when both parties are ready to do so.
