A Little Bit About Me
Salaamu alaikum,

I’m a happy, well-grounded revert to Islam following a Sufi path—somewhere between dhikr circles and National Trust tea rooms. I fast, eat halal, attend weekly gatherings, and do regular dhikr. I don’t currently wear a headscarf, and my prayers are a work in progress—consistency is coming, insha’Allah (hopefully before I hit pension age).

Humour and depth both matter to me. I value soulful connection, but I also appreciate someone who can laugh at life’s chaos (and ideally not be thrown by mismatched socks or forgotten passwords).

I have two grown-up children who live with me, and life is rarely quiet—but always full. I love weekends away, spa breaks, beach walks, and slow days exploring historical houses pretending I’ve just inherited one.

I enjoy the company of open-minded, kind people—of faith or no faith. If free-mixing makes you uncomfortable, we probably won’t vibe. I believe in sincere, respectful connections across the board.
