A Little Bit About Me
I was born and raised in the suburbs of New York. Alhamduliah I was blessed with an Islamic upbringing for the most part. Additionally, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Egypt and Jordan where I studied for two years and furthered my knowledge of the Arabic language, a great blessing indeed. However, I should note that regardless of my accomplishments, I’m always seeking to improve my relationship with Him by continuing to learn and implement the vastness of this deen in my everyday life. Being that I take the middle path when it comes to my practicing of Islam, I still enjoy everything that life has to offer. I very much enjoy traveling and have visited numerous countries in my short life alhamduliah. I also love activities relating to the outdoors (e.g. hiking, boating, etc.) albeit sometimes I enjoy just staying at home with a good book around the fireplace (in the winter of course!). Moreover, I take my health seriously by eating a balanced diet and maintain a lifting/cardio routine – minimum 3x- a week.

In regards to education, I have Bachelors in Finance and a Masters in Accounting. As for making a living, I work as an advisory consultant for Deloitte and Touche based in NYC. My work takes me everywhere alhamduliah and thoroughly enjoy helping and working with a diverse group of clients.
